한은주, 공간건축에서 실무 후 영국왕립예술대학원에서 도시공간에서의 위치기반 인터렉션디자인 연구로 박사학위를 받았다. Siggraph 2009에서 건축과 미디어 아트가 결합된 작품을 발표했으며, 2011년 광주 디자인비엔날레 초대작가다. SPACE 편집장, 공간건축 이사를 지냈으며, 공공건축 최초 키네틱 건축인 ‘목연리’를 완공했으며, 한국건축가협회 특별상, 세계건축상(World Architecture Award)과 레드닷 어워드를 수상했다 . 현재 ㈜소프트아키텍쳐랩의 대표, 한양대 겸임교수, SPACE 편집위원으로 예술작업, 글쓰기, 디자인공학 등의 작업을 통해 혁신적 도시디자인과 건축을 고민하고 있다.
After architecture practice at Space Group, architect Han, Eunju 한은주 received her Ph.D from the Royal College of Art in London for Locative Interaction in Urban Space: Programmatic flexibility. She announced incorporating architecture and media art at the Siggraph 2009, and she was an invited artist at the 2011 Gwangju Design Biennale. Recently she received World Architecture Award and Reddot Award with MOKYEONRI(Kinetic Wood Museum). She was previously an editor-in-chief of SPACE Magazine, and is currently the principal architect of softarchitecturelab Co., Ltd., adjunct professor at Hanyang University, and a member of the editorial board at SPACE Magazine. She is currently working for innovative urban design and architecture, reflected through her art, articles and design engineering works.
